June 2008 - My fifth month

June was a wonderful month at home just being a baby.  I worked on my exercising with the exersaucer that my dad put together for me, a great gift from Mr. & Mrs. Edrington.  I also used the quilt daddy's Aunt Alice made for me to get lots of "tummy time" and learn to roll over to my back.  My 4 month well-baby check up brought me in at just under 17 1/2 pounds and I am up to 26 inches long! Finally my Uncle Ryan came to visit me.  I took him to a brewpub for a pizza and beer, which he likes very much, but I will tell you all the ladies in the place had their eyes on me...

So my mom decided I needed a little photo session one day when I was wearing my Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department outfit because daddy's Uncle Ron works there and if I pose well enough maybe I can become a C-M PD mascot...here goes

The laugh.

Do I also look like I have been propped up on this pillow?

The stare.

What are you looking at punk?  If you keep running your mouth I will take you out back and show you these two hands are lethal weapons.

The Why.

Why are we still doing this and why do my pants look like I should be hanging out with guys out playing shuffleboard?

The Tongue.

Hey if your parents won't quit stick out your tongue and blow bubbles.

The Doctor Evil.

If they still won't quit threaten to destroy their camera with a high powered "laser"...

OK I have spit up on the right side of my shirt, let's see if I can get the left side to match.  It is what baby's do you know.

What happens when your parents overwhelm you with bright colored toys on your highchair?

I really want those pretty colored rings...

And I am coordinated enough to use my opposite hand to get them.

Playing in my exersaucer is Awesome!

Having fun rolling from my tummy to my back over and over.

Meeting my Uncle Ryan for the first time when he came down from his Coast Guard training.  He is a really cool guy. He didn't even mind that I spit up on him five minutes after we met.  If you want to meet his kids, my cousins James and Rylea, go to their website at www.jamesandrylea.com
