Being born on January 29th allowed me to have my first month of life in February. During this month I experienced many firsts - first bath time, first holiday (Valentine's Day), first weigh in after leaving the hospital (1 pound in 4 days!), first tornado (just 10 miles away) and first snow storm (4 inches)! I was also very blessed to have so many people thinking about me and sending me wonderful gifts of clothes and toys. Thank you to everyone who took a moment to send something to me. I will put each of your items to good use and maybe you will catch me wearing or using them in a photo on this site sometime. Here are some photos from baby Matthew's first month:

During my first month of life I often liked to sleep with my arms above my head while riding in my rocker...	All cozy with my blanket and burp cloth from the Sweet P Collection made by my Mom's friends Stephanie and Kristin.
Valentine's Day was my first holiday and my parents put me in this very girly outfit for the day. I was only 16 days old when this photo was taken.	Of course being a proper boy I spit up on it as quickly as possible and got a change...
Mommy loves to hold me for photos even when I don't want to be photographed...	It is better to just clown around with her and give big grins.

When my parents put me in my car seat to go out of the house sometimes they don't get me in straight, they then laugh, maybe take a photo like this one, and fix me...	If you bounce me on your legs and mash up my head and body I have a double chin:)

Bath time is always fun. Here is me in one of my first baths just hanging out and enjoying the warm water. I am good at bath time after I have ensured that there is a bit of pee in the bath water...
I love to try to lift my head up when I am being burped by my Daddy.
