January 31st, 2008 - My first day at home

After just over two full days at BACH the docs gave me and mom the OK and we were cleared to head home and meet my new buddy Libby.

I set myself up in my new seat in the backseat of the Ford and got ready for my first car ride.

When I awoke (for the fifth time that morning) it was a little snowy and cold outside in Tennessee so the docs told everyone who was able to leave to go ahead and drive home.

These are the flowers that my GG (Grandmother Gloria) gave my mom at the hospital to reminder what a wonderful thing she did by bringing me into the world.

Riding home in my Honey Bear cap.  You kind of need that when it is below freezing outside!!

Here is the stork that was outside my house when I arrived letting everybody in the neighborhood know I was born.

THANKS to all dad's friends at work for getting me this stork to announce that a new little bundle of joy had arrived.

Time to show off with my "I've arrived at Home!" pics.  Check me out in my Honey Bear outfit that GG got me.  Boy do I look like a lady killer...

Check me out making newborn baby sounds!

Dad I am going to get grumpy if you don't stop taking so many photos!

Alright I have had enough!  I am just going to yawn and take a nap.  It's what I am best at right now anyway.

After another feeding and a change I got myself swaddled in for a nice long nap being covered by a wonderful blanket made for me by Stephanie and Kristin who are good friends of my mom.

And who better to keep a watchful eye over me while I sleep than my new buddy Libby.  She is my guard dog and is very curious about me while being very protective too.
