We have been quite fortunate when it comes to the holiday season and being able to spend time with family.  Ian made it back from Iraq just in time to be in Houston for Christmas 2004.

Susan and Ian then took the opportunity to visit North Carolina in January 2005 and caught up with Brent.

Here is an old photo we found from our travels in New York.  Susan stands at the top of a spiral staircase that is in the Rose Inn in Ithaca, NY.  The Rose Inn has since unfortunately burned down in 2004.  Before being bought and turned into a bed and breakfast it was the home where Susan's dad grew up.  Before it burned it was one of our personal hidden goals to some day buy it back.
