It's Norway, what else is there to do besides go skiing...go for an ice skate in the city center.

One of my favorite things about the city on the Saturday afternoon was the open markets, even in the winter.  Here a Norwegian woman is in the Christmas spirit, dressed as one of Santa's helpers, as she sells her fresh farm food.

 This shows the Scandinavian pastel colors of the houses in old Trondheim, pastel pink, blue, yellow, etc.

The canal through the center of Trondheim was beautiful with the sun reflecting off of it.  The water had to be extremely cold, but not yet frozen.
