From Ian on April 3, 2004: The 545th MP Company, 1st Cavalry Division that I command is ready. These troopers are prepared to serve in this combat zone and allow the soldiers that we are relieving the ability to get back to their families after a year apart. This unit and our division will make a difference while we are there, this is our time to do our job and make Iraq a better place. It won't be without loss but it will be for a just cause. If you have a moment please stop and say a prayer for all of the men and women serving around the world right now away from their families and know they are proud to do it.
