Here are a few photos from our weekend trip
to the land of who else... William Shakespeare.
Stratford-upon-Avon is the home of
Shakespeare and Warwick is just up the road. We chose to go
before the very busy tourist season. Enjoy.
Anne Hathaway's (Shakespeare's wife) home. He lived here
later in life. Cool thatched roof cottage!
Shakespeare's childhood home, right smack in the
middle of Stratford. He owned this later in life after he was a
rich man from his playwriting, given to him by his father.

Warwick Castle is one of the coolest castles we
have visited in the UK.
Someone is directed to spend time in the gallows.
The castle is owned by Madame Tussauds who have done
a great job of decorating rooms as they were in eras of the past.

Warwick sits on the Avon river. Here it
runs by the castle...beautiful!
