Rome
When you think of Rome you probably
automatically think of a couple of things - The Vatican (next page) and the
Coliseum and fountains. We found our way to the Coliseum.
The inside doesn't look like it did
when the Gladiators fought there. There is no more floor but you can
see the underground tunnels where they were kept before they fought the
tigers to the death.
And yes there are plenty of
fountains.
The famous Trevi fountain.
We also found our way to the
Parthenon. This place has a hole in the center of the roof so not only
sun can get in but pigeons and rain too. It is quite beautiful inside,
and free to visit.
A famous old fort up on the hill.
Beautiful architecture in the
bridges and all over..
